Fall Into Flawless Skin With the Help of Luxe Skin Care Studio

As we transition from summer to fall, it’s the perfect time to evaluate your skin’s condition, adjust your routine and start reversing the effects of sun damage and aging aka stressed skin.

What is stressed skin?

Before we go any further, you should know the signs of stressed skin.  It comes in many forms.  Some of the most common is the increased appearance of:

  • Pigmentation (sun damage, melasma, etc.)
  • Wrinkles
  • Fine lines
  • Acne
  • Dehydrated skin

Loss of elasticity is also a common sign of skin stress.

Noticing some of these issues?  Here’s what you need to do.

If you’re reading this and thinking “wow was she in my bathroom this morning when I was looking at my face with no makeup”, then it’s time to schedule a consultation.  The longer you wait to address these issues and start reversing them, the more difficult, time-consuming AND expensive this process will be.  And FYI, coming in for an occasional facial is not going to be enough to move the needle.  If you’re seeing visible signs of these issues, you’re going to need a treatment plan to improve them.  Here’s how to get a treatment plan in place.

What to Expect During Your Consultation

As I said, the first step is scheduling a consultation.  When you come in for a consult with me, I will do a thorough skin analysis and create a customized treatment plan to help you start moving in the right direction. Rest assured; I’m not going to try to “sell you” on something you don’t need.  I’m going to tell you what I know you need to do to see improvements to your skin.  Then, I’m going to educate you on what is involved and from there, it’s totally up to you whether you want to commit to the program.

To give you an idea of what my treatment plans include, most of my clients need to be on my Pro-Aging Level 3-4 program before they start seeing improvements in their skin.

My Level 3 program includes treatments like SWiCH! The SWiCH™ Dermal Rejuvenation System is a unique alternative to a chemical peel that redefines how I treat age-damaged skin. SWiCH™ takes advantage of the skin’s natural repair mechanism to help restore its optimal appearance without injury to the skin. It works to help the skin reverse the signs of aging and repair itself from the inside out.  This treatment is best done in a series of 3, 4 weeks apart.

Levels 3 & 4 also include treatments like Carboxytherapy.  Carboxy CO2 therapy is a new anti-aging skin correcting technology that I have found to be a key ingredient when it comes to radiant, youthful skin! During treatments, your skin is infused with the necessary amount of topical carbon dioxide (CO2). This needle-free CO2 Carboxy therapy helps boost the skin’s metabolism and natural production of oxygen providing deep hydration. Skin looks dramatically brighter, fresher, even-toned, less-lined, and supple after one use.

Just because you start in one program doesn’t mean you’ll stay there.  I am constantly evaluating your progress and then adjusting your protocol as needed.  This will include adjusting your products too!

Adjusting Your Skin Care Products for the Seasons

The plan that I customize for you will include products.  We’ll make sure you have the right products to address and reverse the issues you’re currently having, plus prevent them from recurring in the future.

When you’re on one of my programs, I’m evaluating your product use with each visit and I always pay close attention during the change of the season, especially spring and fall!  These are times of the year when we need to pay close attention to our moisturizer and SPF.  You need SPF all year, but as we transition to fall, we may be able to adjust the strength.

Fall is also the perfect time to adjust your moisturizer.  I recommend to many of you that you switch to a lighter moisturizer during summer to avoid clogging your pores.  Then, in fall as we head into winter, I may suggest you switch to a richer moisturizer that can act as a barrier against the impact of the cold weather and artificial heat we’re exposed to.

Lastly, I like to look at what you’re exfoliating with and how often you’re using it. Over-exfoliating or using a harsh exfoliator can do more harm than good.  As the seasons’ change, your exfoliation needs may change, so it’s always good to go over your exfoliation routine with me too!

Whether you’re experiencing skin issues or not, fall is a good time to evaluate your skincare routine.

So, let’s fall into flawless skin together and get you started on a treatment plan to address stressed skin.  Schedule a consultation today.  We’ll analyze your skin, adjust your products and start addressing your concerns in one relaxing visit!
