Luxe Skin Care – Studio Etiquette, Policies and Procedures

We appreciate your patronage and we are committed to providing an excellent experience to every guest that visit Luxe Skin Care studio.

 

To ensure all our guests enjoy their time with us and receive the high quality service we are known for providing, we have implemented the following policies and procedures.

Appointments - Cancellation/Rescheduling
A valid credit card is required to schedule and hold your appointment(s).

Your appointments are reserved especially for you. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment with out proper notice, we miss the opportunity to fill those appointment times and other clients miss an opportunity to receive their services. We understand that unfortunate and unforseen circumstances arise to prevent you from coming such as debilitating sickness, disease or death. However, Mismanaging schedules, changes in work duties, forgetting appointment, etc. will require the cancellation fees.

A 24 hours’ notice of appointment cancellation and/or changes in desired service(s) is required to avoid being charged full price of service(s).

No show(failure to show to appointment) will result in full charge of service(s) scheduled.

Arriving 10 minutes after your scheduled appointment time will have to be rescheduled so that your service is not rushed and so no to delay the next guest and still be required to pay full price of services. Two consecutive late arrivals will block you from online booking system and will be required to pre pay for all future appointments.

Clients cancelling more than two consecutive times will be charged for the entire service(s) and/or required to pre-pay in order to be rescheduled.

Appointment Reminders (email & text) are a courtesy and are automated. They are sent out at the time appointments are made and 48 hours before your appointment. It is your responsibility to remember your appointments scheduled to avoid missed appointments, late arrivals, and cancellation fees.

You MUST confirm your appointment via your confirmation email or text within the 24 hour window of your appointment or you appointment will be CANCELLED and full services missed charged.

Remember to put Luxe Skin Care on your safe list, so important emails don’t end up in spam.
By making appointments with us, you are agreeing and understand the terms and conditions at Luxe Skin Care.
On-Time Arrival
Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This will ensure proper time to complete your consent forms and receive full service without rushing. If you arrive 10 minutes late, you will need to reschedule so as not to delay the next guest and still be required to pay in full for services for which you were scheduled so the daily schedule is not disrupted. Two consecutive late arrivals will block you from online booking system and will be required to pre pay for all future appointments.

Any changes to adding or removing services should be done at least 24 hours in advance so as not to disrupt schedule.

Atmosphere
Please respect the peaceful environment and be mindful to others by keeping conversations at a low volume. Cell phones should be placed on vibrate.

 

We regret that young children cannot be left unattended in the waiting area or accompany a parent in the treatment room if they are not receiving a service. The room has a variety of equipment and hazardous chemicals that may be unsafe if a child isn’t watched. Please enjoy your service without the worry of a child to watch over.

 

Parent must be present to sign consent for treatment for anyone under 17.

 

It is not advised to have additional persons in the treatment room as this distracts from the full attention of the service.

You may be asked to remove any jewelry while receiving treatments, so please keep any valuables are home. We are not responsible for your personal items.

Payments
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Cash and Checks(with valid ID). All account must have a valid credit card on file.

Gratuities are no included

Returned checks will be charged $35.

All services must be paid in full at time of services.

Postdating checks is not permitted.

As of January 1, 2018 we no longer issue/sell gift certficiates.

Refunds
Due to the nature of our services, we do not offer refunds or exchanges on services, packages, prepaid packages, memberships and gift certificates. Products may be returned within 3 days if they are unopened for store credit. We do our best to provide you with the best customer service and will do our best to rectify any situation that may arise.

All items on sale are final and may not be returned or exchanged.

Treatments/Services
Consultations are important in the beginning of any path to skin health.  To get a better understanding of what your needs of skin care are and discuss targeted treatment options, any side effects, benefits and any restrictions.

 

Once you are in agreement to treatments, you agree to to use the recommended skin care products in your regimen at home and to your scheduled treatment plan. If you chose to not use our recommended home care that we carry, we will not be able to perform any advanced skin care treatments.

 

All client must complete an annual health information and consent to treatment  form to keep us aware of any contraindications  that may arise. All clients must inform your service provider at the start of every visit if they are under any new prescribed medical or OTC(over the counter) oral or topical treatments, or have been diagnosed with any new illnesses, allergies or injuries.

 

Clients should agree to follow Aesthetician’s advice for post-session care. Your compliance with treatments and home care is required to achieve the best desired results.

Treatment prices are subject to change with or without notice.

We reserve the right to refuse and or terminate services any time.

Illness
Please be kind to our therapists and clients health. If you are sick, please reschedule your appointment. Cancellation terms still apply.

No service will be performed if there are any contagious illnesess of  the following but not limited to:
Vomiting, Fever, Strep, Chicken Pox, Flu, Norovirus(stomach flu), head lice, impetigo, scabies, active cold sores, conjunctivitis.

What do facials do?
Facials have many benefits. They aid with exfoliation, hydration, skin nutrition, targeted treatments for acne, aging, and hyperpigmentation. You also can get a brief moment in your busy day to relieve stress. Most results can be seen in a series of treatments that are recommended for you.
Why should I not use over the counter (OTC) products?
Many OTC products can contain many chemical ingredients, artificial fragrance, sulfates, parabens, which all can irritate the skin and just sit on the surface of the skin as they’re not made to penetrate deeper, to keep it safe to the consumer market as a whole.

We proudly use and recommend Image Skincare which is a cosmeceutical skincare line which provides medical grade skin care, so you can see the benefits of skin health that works on the cellular level. No chemical preservatives, parabens, or fillers.

We want you to get the best results from your facial treatments so we will recommend products for you that will work in conjunction with your treatments. We are a team on your skin care journey. We will do our part in the treatment room, but you MUST do your part at home. When we work together, we are less likely to fumble.

Why do I need sunscreen?
As we all love the sun, we do need our sunscreen. This helps prevent any wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and loss of moisture. With facial treatments you must be using sunscreen to maintain your path of results.
